We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Math Teacher to join our school. As a Math Teacher, you will play a critical role in inspiring students to explore and understand the math concepts and knowledge, and will develop engaging lessons, facilitate discussions, and foster critical thinking skills to help students develop a deep appreciation for math.
1. Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with the school math curriculum.
2. Design and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods, instructional materials, and technology tools to meet the diverse needs of students.
3. Forster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and inspire students to excel in math.
4. Teach various mathematical concepts, such as numbers, operations, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
5. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
6. Integrate technology effectively into math instruction to enhance student engagement and understanding.
7. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
8. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues on student performance and progress.
9. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular projects and activities that integrate math.
10. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and grades.
11. Fulfill all other responsibilities as assigned by the School.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field. A teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
2. Proven experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level.
3. In-depth knowledge of school math curriculum and instructional strategies.
4. Passion for mathematics education and a strong desire to inspire students.
5. Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
7. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
8. Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
9. Proficiency in integrating technology into math instruction.
10. Ability to assess student progress accurately and use data to inform instructional decisions.
11. Continuous learner, open to professional development opportunities.
12. Must qualify for legal Z Visa.

1. Maintain daily, weekly and monthly teaching plans and provide integrated English curriculum that meets the needs of individual children.
2. Engage in a variety of duties (e.g., library supervision, meal time supervision, recess duty, field trip supervision, etc.) necessary to the care of the students and the smooth functioning of the school.
3. Be responsible for the appearance, decor, and learning environment of the classroom.
4. Provide supports to school activities (such as Family Sports Day, Art Expo, Drama Festival, team building, cultural exchange activities, etc.) .
5. Treat each child, co-worker and parent with dignity and respect. Regularly communicate in a professional manner with students, families, and colleagues.
6. Use and promote positive guidance techniques and a variety of creative and expressive activities.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited institution in elementary education or closely related field.
2. Professional teacher education course work in areas of learning process, tests and measurement, educational philosophy, psychology, methods of teaching, etc.
3. Experience working with HKDSE, A Level, IB curriculum preferable.
4. Experience with project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, activity-based learning and tablets learning.
5. At least 3 years of teaching experience in elementary school.
6. A currently valid teaching license/certificate in Elementary Education. An international teaching license is a plus.
7. Native speakers of English.
8. Must qualify for legal Z Visa.
9. Proven skills in using a variety of positive classroom management techniques.
10. Strong communication, organization and instructional skills.
